It’s official…I feel like I’m headed out on a journey that I have waited a lifetime for….(kinda sorta true).
This week…I am completely autotuned into my gypset vibe and am headed to Round Top, Texas….home of one of the largest Antique and Flea Markets in the US.
You know Texans…. everything is grander! It wasn’t long planned or set in stone until about 2 weeks ago….and BOOM!… just like that I realized….”what AM I waiting for??!!”
More than anything about this trip….I am so excited to visit the Junk Gypsy tent. I have admired them from afar for years….their adventurous, like none others spirit. This past year they got introduced to the entire HGTV population by way of their own tv series showcasing their genuine off the beaten track creativity. And the finale of the week is definitely the Junk Gypsy Prom….like no other party you will probably ever attend!

I know how lucky I am to get this moment in life.…I am so grateful that I have a spouse who supports me and my crazees…who cares enough about me to make something that I have dreamed of to finally happen…someone who’s willing to go along for the adventure. Silly as it seems….Happy tears cloud my eyes at just the thought of this time.
I can’t tell you how giddy I have been about this trip….like a little girl going to the department store at Christmas….just waiting to see all of the tinsel and lights.
There is something so grand about finally making peace with yourself to make a change.
Even grander is when all of the pieces of the puzzle seem to be laying out in front of you…. just waiting to be put into place.
I feel more than ready for creating this long awaited journey and can only hope that the higher powers allow me to keep opening new doors on this path.
Get ready….it’s gonna be a little wacky….a little wild…and a whole lot of dusty roads:)
